Portrait of a Tree IX – Somes Sound Monster?

For some reason, this tree frozen in the ice reminded me of various representations of the Loch Ness Monster.  I also thought the reflection of the tree in the ice was unique and not something you see very often.

  1. frost of morning
    has captured the dragon
and all the forest trees bend to see
such a sight frozen in the loch.

    was daylight that rose
    from the stone edged path
    to give her such beauty
    that soon will be gone
    between sun and tide.

    thank you earth
    thank you sea
thank you woman in the midst.

  2. Michael, I LOVE this! Thank you.

  3. Stunning. Very monsterish, indeed.
