I really liked the look of these two tree trunks in the middle of this temporary ice “river”. They just seemed like two “characters” out in the woods.

Ha, it did seem like they were playing a game. I actually just sat with them for a time before I took the shot.

reminds me of Farquhar Park
where i sit on an old bench
and dream of being in a place
so remote not to see
the edge of my city
through the woody stilts
and needled canopy.
