Portrait of a Tree – VII

I really liked the look of these two tree trunks in the middle of this temporary ice “river”.   They just seemed like two “characters” out in the woods.

  1. I love the way you took this image, and what you wrote about it, Carol. 🙂 It brought to mind two trees play sword fighting with each other. Fun! Thank you! 🙂

  2. beautiful elderly pines,
    reminds me of Farquhar Park
where i sit on an old bench
and dream of being in a place
    so remote not to see
    the edge of my city
    through the woody stilts
    and needled canopy.
