Portrait of a Tree – V

I found this along the edge of Eagle Lake on my hike today, and thought it was just beautiful, the form lent itself to B&W with the ice on the lake.

  1. Love the soft feel to this and the black and white is perfect. Beautiful photo, Carol! 🙂

  2. the wood sits proper
    and warmed in the sun
    like an old man perched
    on the balcony
weathered by the wind of sea
    and set away from anxiety
    to meditate upon the continuance
    of another brisk day.
