Nature’s Ice Sculpture

Hiking today, I came across an area along the shore where high tide, salt spray, and cold air had combined to freeze a thick layer of ice along the rocks.  It reminded me of the ice I saw hiking on a glacier in Juno, Alaska some years back.   I really liked how the reflection of the sky (and the lack of oxygen in the water that formed the ice) gave a blue hue.   I also really liked the pattern!
