Abstract Photography

On a less than inspiring day along the trail, I decided to experiment with some abstract photography.   The icicles and ice flows melting over the rocks made for good experimentation.   I also liked how the picture is blurred in the front and clear in the back.  Normally, depth of field would give the opposite.  this is likely due to the larger lens I used.

Icicle abstract

This picture made ME feel as though the water was actually melting.  Does it remind you of anything else?
